Terry Connor: 'We can survive'

Terry Connor insists that Wolverhampton Wanderers can survive in the Premier League this season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers interim boss Terry Connor has insisted that the club can survive in the Premier League this season.

The club's 2-1 defeat to Norwich City on Saturday left them bottom of the Premier League with eight games remaining, but Connor praised his side following the loss.

"I thought the lads were terrific today, they gave absolutely everything out there. I couldn't have asked for any more from them," Connor told Sky Sports News.

"We're working hard to eradicate defensive mistakes from our game but having got in front there was perhaps a little lack of concentration. At this level you get punished for it.

"It was very hard to take. But we've got eight games to go and I look at the table and think it is still very doable."

Wolves are four points from safety.
