Will Genia has acknowledged that Australia will have to work hard to iron out any mistakes ahead of crunch meetings with England and Wales.
The Wallabies got their Rugby World Cup campaign off to a winning start at the Millennium Stadium by beating Fiji 28-13 on Wednesday evening.
Australia looked good value to claim a bonus-point win after crossing over three times inside the opening 43 minutes, but an improved Fiji kept them at bay for the remainder.
However, Genia was unwilling to make any comparisons with tournament hosts England, who themselves got the better of the Pacific Islanders in last week's curtain-raiser at Twickenham.
"We are not worried about the comparisons," he told Sports Mole. "We don't see how comparing ourselves to what [England] did helps us.
"We watched the game with it being the first one at the World Cup, but we are very much concentrating on our own game and how we do things."
Genia did reserve a word of praise for Fiji, however, adding: "Their scrum was exceptional. Credit to them because they have worked on certain technical areas of their game. They played very well.
"We now have to make sure we look at the things we did well, and also improve on the things we didn't do quite so well. In that respect it was a game of two halves, but we will continue to make sure that we work hard."
Australia face England at Rugby HQ on October 3, before heading back to Cardiff where they will take on Wales seven days later.
