Italy have announced that Michele Visentin has been added to the squad for the remainder of the Rugby World Cup after Andrea Masi was injured in the defeat to France.
The centre tore his Achilles during the 32-10 defeat at Twickenham, ruling him out for around six months.
Visentin made his debut for the Azzurri during the Six Nations win over Scotland at Murrayfield earlier this year.
The 23-year-old arrived at the team's hotel on Sunday, and could feature in their match against Canada in Leeds next weekend.
