Leinster have progressed to the final of the Challenge Cup after thrashing Biarritz in the semi-final this afternoon.

A first-half try from Johnny Sexton and two from Jamie Heaslip helped the reigning Heineken Cup champions to a comfortable 24-9 lead at half time, with Biarritz creating few chances.

Taku Ngwenya was sent to the sin bin early in the second period, allowing the home side to increase their lead through Isa Nacewa and Brian O'Driscoll.

Arnaud Heguy gave the French side late hope, but they were unable to breach the Leinster defence again in the final 10 minutes of the match.
