Kyle Edmund has continued his excellent start to 2016 with victory over Dan Evans in the Dallas Challenger final.
The pair were contesting the first all-British title decider at a second-tier event since 2005, and it was Edmund who dominated the contest as he prevailed in straight sets.
One break of serve was enough for Edmund to take the first set, but the 21-year-old was forced to fend off four break points in the second as Evans improved in his return games.
However, Edmund struck two more times on the Birmingham hitter's serve to eventually claim the win by a 6-3 6-2 scoreline.
Edmund is expected to move into a career-high position of 84th in the world rankings on Monday, while Evans will break back into the top 160 as he continues to make progress up the standings.
