Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro has advanced into the second round of Wimbledon following a 6-4 3-6 7-6 7-5 victory over Robin Haase.
Del Potro started the match in perfect fashion by breaking Haase at the first opportunity – on his way to claiming the opening set.
The second was an equally tight affair, but it was Haase who claimed the break at 5-3 to secure the second set.
Both players lost their serves in the third as we entered a tie-break, and it was Del Potro who claimed it 7-3 to move two-sets-to-one ahead.
Haase again lost his opening service game of the fourth, and again at 5-5, as Del Potro served for a spot in the next round.
