Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has revealed that Barry Robson is expected to sign a new contract with the club.
The 35-year-old midfielder is due to be a free agent at the end of the season.
However, McInnes is confident that Robson will put pen to paper on fresh terms in the coming weeks.
"There's not going to be a problem there. He loves it here," McInnes told the Daily Record. "He's a winner, a competitor and someone I always want with me.
"We're confident we'll get round to sorting everything out. I don't think there have been any question marks over whether he's going to get a new contract.
"We've spoken to him, although we haven't got round to agreeing anything."
Robson has scored four goals in 27 games for Aberdeen during the current campaign.
