Dennis Bergkamp claims that changes must be made at his former club Arsenal in order for them to win trophies.

Former Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp believes that the club need to make changes to begin winning trophies again.

Arsene Wenger's side haven't won a trophy since 2005, and Bergkamp claims that the squad is in need of some amendments.

Bergkamp told the Daily Telegraph: "I feel there are a lot of similar players there at the moment. It needs to be more diverse.

"You need a few strong characters who can get the team going, in training as well as matches.

"Sometimes you need more of a winning mentality than a passing mentality. I'm not sure Arsenal have enough of that in their players, when the attitude becomes more important than the ability just to pass the ball."

Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League.
