Aaron Ramsey has said that he is looking forward to growing as part of Arsenal's young group of core players.
The Welshman is one of several up-and-coming stars in the club's lineup – alongside the likes of Jack Wilshere, Emmanuel Frimpong and Francis Coquelin – but has stressed the importance of continuing to grow together in order to achieve long-term success.
"There's plenty of young talent there," he told the club's official website. "We have to bond even more and gel as a team. Hopefully we'll make it successful for many years.
"It's important that you have that core, that you've been together for a few years and you understand each other.
"It'll only make us stronger because you realise what to do on the pitch."
The 20-year-old arrived at the Emirates in 2008 from boyhood club Cardiff City.
