Wolverhampton Wanderers join Everton and Liverpool in showing an interest in soon-to-be free agent Jack Wilshere, according to a report.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is reportedly a summer transfer target for newly-promoted Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The ambitious Midlanders are keen to make a statement on their return to the top tier of English football and are understood to have targeted in-demand Wilshere.

A breakdown in talks with Arsenal over a new contract means that the England international will almost certainly leave the Emirates Stadium as a free agent at the end of the campaign.

According to The Mirror, Wolves have not been put off by interest from Everton and Liverpool as they fully intend to discuss terms with the 26-year-old.

Wilshere currently earns wages of £110,000 a week at Arsenal, which Wanderers - promoted last weekend with four games to spare - will likely have to match to tempt him into joining.
