Christian Benteke aims for strong finish to Premier League campaign

Christian Benteke believes that Aston Villa should be treating all of their remaining fixtures as cup finals.

Christian Benteke has urged Aston Villa to produce a strong finish in the Premier League this season.

The Belgian striker, who scored twice in a 4-1 win over Norwich City in Villa's last game, believes that Paul Lambert's side should be treating all of their remaining 10 fixtures as cup finals.

Benteke told reporters: "I just try to help the team and if I can score every game it's good.

"We have to treat these 10 games like cup finals. We have to do everything to produce 10 good performances and we'll see where it leaves us.

"But the most important thing for me is the team and to try and win every game."

Villa are currently 11th in the Premier League ahead of Saturday's game against Chelsea.
