Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has suggested that he could leave the club this summer in order to further his career.
The Belgian international is thought to have attracted the interest of a number of top European sides after scoring 23 goals during his debut campaign in English football.
"If Aston Villa say I must stay, I won't necessarily accept that," Benteke is quoted as saying by Nieuwsblad. "I do not in any way want to feel I didn't get the most out of my career. With my family I will decide where my future lies."
Benteke's current contract with Villa is due to expire in 2016.
