Team News: Fernando Torres retains Atletico Madrid starting berth

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone hands a starting berth to striker Fernando Torres, who links up with Mario Mandzukic against Granada this afternoon.

Fernando Torres has retained his place in Atletico Madrid's starting lineup for this afternoon's La Liga clash against Granada.

The AC Milan loanee, who scored twice to help his side to an aggregate victory over rivals Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey in midweek, will link up with Mario Mandzukic from the off.

Elsewhere, Jose Gimenez returns to the side in place of Miranda in the heart of defence, while there are also starts for Gabi, Koke and Arda Turan.

The lowly visitors come into this game on the back of a winless run stretching 14 games, although manager Joaquin Caparros has retained the faith with Youssef El-Arabi who leads the line.
