Agent: 'Claudio Bravo out for three weeks'

Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will be out of action for the next three weeks with a calf problem, according to the Chilean's agent.

The agent of Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has confirmed that his client will be out of action for the next three weeks with a calf problem.

Barcelona confirmed on Tuesday that the Chilean had suffered the injury during a training session, but did not put a time-scale on his return.

According to Cristian Ogalde, however, the 32-year-old will need three weeks "to recover to be 100%".

"Claudio's fine. I talked to him and he's calm. It's an injury that will take three weeks to recover to be 100%," Ogalde told a Chilean radio station.

"He thinks he'll feel better in a week but needs to recover 100% so that it doesn't happen again in a few months. He'll miss some league games but it's best to recover well so there's not a relapse.

"He should be fit [to play Brazil on October 8]. He'll have trained at least a week with Barcelona by then."

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is expected to deputise for Saturday's La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid.
