Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
The 30-year-old has been consistently linked with a move away from Naples over the last few years but has remained with the Italian club, where he has a contract until next June.
However, there is again speculation surrounding the Senegal international's future, with a number of clubs believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli are prepared to sell the defender in the upcoming market, as they fear losing him on a free transfer next June.
The report claims that Barcelona want to sign a replacement for Gerard Pique, and Koulibaly's agent has recently been in Spain to meet with the La Liga outfit to discuss Miralem Pjanic's future.
The defender has again been a vital player for his Italian club during the current season, scoring twice and providing two assists in 27 appearances in all competitions.
Koulibaly has made 310 appearances for Napoli since his arrival from Genk in July 2014.
