Borussia Dortmund have completed a deal to sign Marc Bartra from Barcelona this summer.
The 25-year-old has been at Camp Nou since the age of 12, working his way through the club's famous youth academy and going on to make more than 100 first-team appearances for the Spanish giants.
However, Bartra made just four league starts last season and last week hinted that he would be moving on this summer after his release clause was lowered to just £6m.
Dortmund have now triggered that clause, and will officially sign the nine-time Spain international when the transfer window opens, although the length of his contract has not yet been disclosed.
"FC Barcelona wish Marc Bartra all the best in his new phase of his career as a player and he will be invited to say goodbye to the fans personally at the start of next season," read a statement on Barca's official website.
Bartra won five league titles, three Copa del Reys and two Champions Leagues during his time with Barcelona.
