Preview: Blackpool vs. Cardiff City

Sports Mole looks ahead to Friday's encounter between Blackpool and Cardiff City in the Championship.

Blackpool have the chance to pick up their first win of the season on Friday night when they host Cardiff City in the Championship.

The Seasiders are currently at the bottom of the table after taking just three points from their opening 10 matches of the campaign.

However, Jose Riga's side head into the weekend on the back of a credible 1-1 draw away to promotion-chasing Middlesbrough.

Visitors Cardiff have endured a difficult start to the season, but they are now only five points adrift of the playoff places thanks to an unbeaten run of three games.

The Bluebirds' last outing was in midweek when they drew 1-1 against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

Blackpool have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the contest, while Cardiff could welcome back Craig Noone to their starting lineup after he was dropped against Brighton.
