Bolton Wanderers defender Tim Ream will reportedly turn down the chance to join Queens Park Rangers in order to complete a move to Championship rivals Fulham.
Rangers were believed to be in pole position to sign the US international, with Trotters boss Neil Lennon confirming the R's interest in the player.
However, Fulham have since made a late bid for Ream and a source told NBC Sports that a move to the Cottagers is "highly likely".
It is thought that the 27-year-old is eager to return to the Premier League and sees Fulham as giving him a better chance of playing in the top flight than the Hoops.
Ream joined Bolton in 2012, months before Wanderers were relegated from the Premier League.
