Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has criticised Ciro Immobile for suggesting that he had no support during his time at the club.
Immobile was sent to Sevilla on loan last month after struggling to find his best form in Germany, and the former Torino forward has claimed that he was not helped by key figures at the club.
However, Zorc has moved quickly to dismiss the claims from Immobile, who managed to score just three Bundesliga goals last season.
"If these quotes are actually true, they make me want to puke. Instead of criticising teammates, coach and club, a little more self-criticism would be appropriate," he told Kicker.
Dortmund spent a reported £13.5m to sign Immobile from Torino last summer.
