Cardiff City confirm the capture of Queens Park Rangers forward Tommy Smith on a two-year deal.

Cardiff City have confirmed the capture of forward Tommy Smith from Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

The 32-year-old had been expected to finalise his switch to the Championship outfit today after completing a medical yesterday.

Smith, who has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Cardiff City Stadium, dropped out of the rankings at QPR and was expected to leave Loftus Road due to the West London club's acquisition of eight players so far this summer.

The former Portsmouth player will wear the number 14 shirt with the Bluebirds.
