Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has expressed his belief that his side can still win the league despite being 11 points behind leaders Manchester United.
Lampard scored both goals in Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Everton yesterday, moving them four points behind second-placed Manchester City but still some way adrift of United.
The Blues led the league during the early stages but went through a spell of bad form to fall behind the Manchester clubs. However, four wins on the trot have convinced Lampard that they can haul themselves back into the title race.
"Of course we can still win the league, it is possible," said the England international.
"If we concentrate on ourselves, win our games, put a long run together and we can put pressure on Man United, who knows?
"It's the position we've put ourselves in because we had a funny run in November and December and we were top and now all of a sudden we are adrift - but we can't look back at that."
Chelsea's next match comes at home to bottom-of-the-league Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday.
