Chelsea are reportedly prepared to spend in the region of £150m on four new players during the summer transfer window.
Manager Frank Lampard cut a frustrated figure last month when it became apparent that he would not be making any changes to his first-team squad for the second half of the campaign.
However, at a time when Chelsea have announced that Hakim Ziyech is due to sign for the club from Ajax, it is being suggested that the Blues are planning a major overhaul.
According to The Telegraph, the West Londoners hope to make four high-profile additions before the beginning of the next campaign - incomings which could potentially cost as much as £150m.
While Ziyech meets Lampard's desire when it comes to signing a new creative player, the Englishman is also said to be keen on a centre-back, left-back and striker.
As it stands, Willian, Pedro and Olivier Giroud are all in line to leave Chelsea on a free transfer in June.
