Chelsea have reportedly turned down AC Milan's offer to sign Marco van Ginkel.
Recent speculation claimed that the Serie A club had proposed a loan switch for the Dutch midfielder, with the option to make the move a permanent one next summer.
However, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has decided that following his recovery from a knee injury, the 21-year-old will be a part of his squad at Stamford Bridge over the coming months, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Van Ginkel joined the Blues from Vitesse Arnhem in 2013 for a fee in the region of £8m.
