Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is reportedly in line for a new deal at Stamford Bridge after electing to remain at the club during the transfer window.
The Italy international was strongly linked with a switch to London rivals Arsenal in the summer months, but Jorginho ultimately remained at Stamford Bridge for the 2020-21 campaign.
Now, according to AreaNapoli, the 28-year-old will be offered improved terms by Chelsea owing to his loyalty to the club, with Jorginho's current deal with Frank Lampard's side set to expire in 2023.
The midfielder has turned out 102 times in blue since arriving in the capital from Napoli in 2018, notching up 12 goals in that time, including three penalties in the current Premier League campaign.
Chelsea return to top-flight action with a home fixture against Southampton on Saturday following the international break, during which Jorginho has already played the full 90 minutes in Italy's goalless stalemate with Poland in the UEFA Nations League.
