Branislav Ivanovic has reportedly accepted Chelsea's offer of a new contract.
As it stands, the 31-year-old's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season, when he will become a free agent.
However, according to The Times, the Serbian will soon sign an extension that will tie him to Stamford Bridge for a further 12 months.
The report adds that Ivanovic rejected proposals from Serie A duo Inter Milan and Fiorentina to remain in West London.
The defender joined the Blues from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008.
