A trio of Premier League clubs are interested in signing Brentford's Pontus Jansson, according to a report.
The central defender has played in every single fixture in the top flight this season, scoring one goal in the process, with the Bees currently sat in 10th place.
However, the 30-year-old's performances have led to other clubs now taking a look at him, with Everton, Leicester City and Newcastle United all considering signing Jansson, according to The Guardian.
The Swedish international's contract at Brentford expires at the end of the season, meaning that he will be available on a free transfer next summer if he does not agree new terms before then.
Despite that, the Bees are understood to be unwilling to let Jansson leave the club mid-season, and have therefore placed a hefty asking price on his head for the January transfer window.
No team has conceded more goals in the Premier League this season than Newcastle, who have been linked with a variety of defenders since they were officially taken over.
Meanwhile, the Foxes and the Toffees have also struggled defensively and are looking at potential targets to bolster their backlines.
Jansson signed with the Bees in 2019 for an undisclosed fee from Leeds United and has been a regular since that point.
