Inter Milan have ended their run of four consecutive Serie A defeats after they came back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw at home to Catania.
Alejandro Gomez gave his side a 20th-minute lead when he cut onto his right foot in the Inter penalty area before lashing in past Julio Cesar.
Their advantage was doubled before half time as Mariano Izco tapped in from Giovanni Marchese's pass. However, Marchese looked to have been in an offside position during the build up.
Inter started their comeback with 20 minutes to play when Diego Forlan fired in from the left with a venomous strike.
The sides were level in the 80th minute as Diego Milito smashed the ball into the net from close range.
Felipe Seymour could have put the visitors back in front late on, but he inexplicably tried to curl a weak shot past Cesar when a powerful strike would have been more effective.
At the other end, Giampaolo Pazzini should have snatched the three points for Inter in injury time, but his poked effort was saved from six yards.
