Nicolas Anelka's agent has insisted that the French striker will prove to be an asset for Juventus for the second half of the season.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea forward has joined the Italian champions from Shanghai Shenhua until the summer.
"In media terms, Juventus did very well to keep it all hidden," Fabrizio Ferrari told TuttoJuve.com. "We had also been asked to keep the utmost reserve and silence, avoiding any rumours from emerging.
"His first impact with Turin has been positive. He will spend the day at the Vinovo training ground to meet his new teammates. He is trying to settle in as quickly as possible.
"In his career, Anelka has worn the jerseys of the most important clubs in the world like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal, so now he has arrived at Juventus. This represents a great challenge for Nicolas. He wants to leave his mark in Italy too."
Anelka joined Shenhua in January 2012.
