Leeds United have reportedly set their sights on signing Fulham midfielder Harrison Reed, amid interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
Reed was a key member in Scott Parker's side last season and, despite Fulham's relegation from the top flight, the 26-year-old's performances during his 31 league appearances have caught the eye of Leeds.
The Whites are in the market for a midfielder to supply Kalvin Phillips with cover and competition, as Marcelo Bielsa's side showed frailties during the England international's seven-game absence across the 2020-21 campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, Leeds have added Reed to their transfer target list and many of the Fulham players, Reed included, would be keen on a move away from Craven Cottage to continue playing in the top flight.
With Fulham's relegation to the Championship, Leeds may gain the upper hand in the negotiations for Reed, who has 48 Premier League appearances to his name.
After arriving in West London initially on loan in 2019, Reed has gone on to make 61 appearances for Fulham and helped the side to Premier League promotion last year.
