Roberto Firmino eager for Premier League action following Liverpool move

Liverpool new signing Roberto Firmono admits that he is looking forward to his first season in the Premier League.

New Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has insisted that he is looking forward to "an exciting new chapter" in his football career.

The Brazil international joined the Reds for £29m from German side Hoffenheim last month, and he is keen to improve his game in the Premier League.

He told Hoffenheim's official website: "I have the opportunity to start an exciting new chapter now. I am looking forward to a new challenge and am excited to find out what the Premier League has to offer.

"Of course, everything will once again be new to me at the start. I'm going to have to get used to a new style of play but I'll also get the opportunity to improve my game even further. Of course, I want to be a regular starter at Liverpool and be successful with my new team."

Firmino scored 49 goals in 153 games for the Bundesliga side.
