Leicester City have reportedly signalled their intent to extend the contract of winger Demarai Gray.
Since signing for the Foxes in January 2016, Gray has made just 17 starts in all competitions, with only nine of those coming in last season's Premier League.
This has led to interested clubs targeting a move for the England Under-21 international but according to The Mirror, Leicester are looking to tie the pacey wideman down to a long-term deal.
Gray still has three years remaining on his existing terms, but he earns considerably less than the highest-paid players at the King Power Stadium and what he could receive elsewhere.
While he has only played a bit-part role at the East Midlands side, they face the prospect of losing Riyad Mahrez this summer and do not want to part ways with a likely replacement for the Algerian playmaker.
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have both been credited with a strong interest in the former Birmingham City man.
