Liverpool complete Divock Origi switch

Liverpool complete a move for Belgian international striker Divock Origi.

Liverpool have completed a move for Lille striker Divock Origi for a reported fee of £10m.

The Belgian international, 19, will be loaned back to Lille for the 2014-15 season.

Origi, who signed his first professional deal with the French club in 2012, scored five goals in 30 games during the last campaign.

"I am very, very happy and delighted a club as big as Liverpool showed interest in me. I'm very excited," he told the Reds' official website.

"I know it's a club with a great history, great fans and a lot of great players. For me, Liverpool is one of the greatest clubs in the world and I'm very excited to be part of this great history."

Origi scored one goal in five games for Belgium during this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
