Liverpool have reportedly ended their interest in Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
The 24-year-old is widely expected to leave the Ligue 1 outfit this summer following a campaign which saw him score 22 goals and create 11 more in 38 top-flight outings.
Liverpool were thought to be leading the race for his signature following speculation that they were ready to trigger his £70m asking price.
However, the Evening Standard now claims that the Reds are no longer interested in the Ivory Coast international and are only planning minor changes to their squad this summer.
Pepe could be available for around £60m - £10m less than his release clause - but Jurgen Klopp reportedly feels as though he already has enough attacking options at his disposal.
Bayern Munich are now understood to be the frontrunners for Pepe's signature, having seen both Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben leave the club at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
