Report: Jordon Ibe to sign new five-year deal at Liverpool

A report claims that Jordon Ibe will put an end to speculation over his future by penning a new contract at Liverpool, which will keep him in place at Anfield until 2020.

Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe will reportedly commit his future to the club by signing a new five-year contract next week.

The 19-year-old was said to have stalled on agreeing fresh terms at Anfield, which prompted Manchester City to show an interest in the youngster.

However, the Liverpool Echo claims that the English flyer is on the brink of extending his stay on Merseyside until 2020, following an impressive breakthrough campaign.

Ibe, who is now expected to earn around £30,000 per week, has made 12 first-team appearances for Liverpool since returning from a loan spell at Derby County in January.
