Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has declared that his side must find another way to win consistently to retain their Premier League title.
Hart failed to stop Adam Johnson's long-range strike creeping in as City were beaten by Sunderland on Boxing Day.
Roberto Mancini's side now trail Manchester United by seven points, and Hart admits that changes are needed in the New Year.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "We have dominated a lot of games but people play differently against us now.
"We have to adjust to that and, hopefully, the second half of the season will be better for us.
"It's tough when you play good football and people defend against you but that's what it's like at the top, it's tough."
City are back on the road this weekend as they face Norwich City at Carrow Road.
