Manuel Pellegrini: 'Manchester City can still win title'

Manuel Pellegrini is confident that Manchester City can still win this season's Premier League title.

Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Manchester City are still capable of winning this season's Premier League title.

The Blues are currently seven points behind leaders Liverpool but with two games in hand following their 3-2 defeat to the Reds on Sunday.

Despite Liverpool being in control of the trophy's destiny, Pellegrini believes that it is possible for his side to be crowned champions.

"We win our two postponed games and we're a point back," he told reporters on Tuesday. "If you don't believe we can do it, you can't believe in anything."

City's Premier League title challenge continues on Wednesday night at home to Sunderland.
