Pablo Zabaleta has claimed that Manchester City teammate Mario Balotelli could be one of the best players in the world if he controlled his head.
The controversial striker was frequently in the spotlight last season with his antics both on and off the pitch.
Zabaleta believes that the 21-year-old needs to curb his eccentricities in order to become a better footballer.
"If you could connect his quality to his brain he'd be one of the best players, believe me," the Argentine told the club's official website.
"He could score the best goal in the history of football or he could get a red card five minutes after coming on to the pitch. You play football from your feet to your head but his brain is gone."
Balotelli was recently named in UEFA's Team of Euro 2012 following his three goals for Italy.
