Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi is thought to be considering a move away from the club in January.
Manchester City have been strongly linked with a move for the 27-year-old should he decide to leave Paris.
Reports in the German media have suggested that Lavezzi is unhappy in the French capital and wants a move away from the Parc des Princes as soon as possible.
The Argentina international joined the club from Napoli in the summer as manager Carlo Ancelotti secured a glut of big names including Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lucas Moura.
However, Lavezzi has been in poor form since the move, having received more red cards than he has scored goals for the big-spending French side.
City have been alerted by the news and are reportedly keen on a move, though there appears to be competition from Bayern Munich and Juventus.
Lavezzi is currently valued at around £14m.
