Manchester City are reportedly considering a loan offer for Schalke 04 midfielder Sebastian Rudy.
Rudy joined Schalke from Bayern Munich last summer and has made 13 appearances in all competitions for his German club during the 2018-19 campaign.
According to The Sun, City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to secure midfield cover for Fernandinho, and that has led to the Premier League champions considering a swoop for Rudy before the end of the month.
The same report has claimed that Schalke could be open to a short-term deal if a fee was involved.
Rudy, who is a 27-time Germany international, turned out on 35 occasions for Bayern last season.
