Cristiano Ronaldo is confident that Real Madrid will defeat Manchester United and progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.

The two clubs will face each other in the last 16, with the first leg scheduled to be held at the Santiago Bernabeu on February 13.

"No team's unbeatable, but when we're at our best we're a really good side," the Madrid forward told FIFA.com.

"Manchester United have started the English championship race very well and are a long way ahead of the rest, but still, if we play the way we're capable of, we can beat them.

"To do that we need to pull together and play as a team, like we've done in so many matches before."

Ronaldo won the Champions League with United in 2008 and reached the final the following year.
