Jesse Lingard "over the moon" with Manchester United win

Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard reveals his delight after scoring in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Stoke City in the Premier League.

Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard has revealed his delight after his side recorded a 3-0 win over Stoke City on Tuesday.

Lingard opened the scoring in the Premier League clash, before goals from Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney made it a comfortable night for the Red Devils.

The England Under-21 international has claimed that "everyone's over the moon" with the three points, despite the fact that Louis van Gaal's side are still fifth in the Premier League table, five points off the top four.

"Everyone's over the moon. As soon as the first goal went in we knew we'd get more," Lingard told MUTV.

Man United have now won all eight of their home Premier League games against Stoke.
