Former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson has backed Louis van Gaal to be a success at the club.
The 62-year-old is due to take over at Old Trafford this week after coming back from the World Cup with the Netherlands.
Robson is confident that the veteran coach will be able to bring success back to United after guiding the Dutch to a third-place finish at the tournament in Brazil.
"You could see Holland were very well organised and there was discipline. Hopefully, he can bring that to Manchester. I think he will," he told BBC Sport.
"His CV is great. He's got great experience with top clubs and top players. [The United squad] will be up for the challenge and will be excited by the new coach."
United start the Premier League season at home to Swansea City on August 16.
