Barcelona are contemplating a swap deal with Bayer Leverkusen for midfielder Kai Havertz, according to a report.
Havertz has enjoyed another impressive season with Leverkusen and is believed to be on the radar of numerous clubs across Europe.
Liverpool and Manchester United have both been linked, but Bayern Munich are understood to be leading the chase for the 20-year-old.
German outlet Sport1 suggests that Barca may rival Bayern for Havertz, though, having already made initial contact with Leverkusen.
Due to the loss of revenue brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, the Catalan giants are unable to match the Bundesliga club's near nine-figure valuation.
However, it is claimed that Barca could offer a couple of players and a smaller cash sum for the Germany international.
Emerson Leite, Carles Alena and Marc Cucurella are said to be the players Barcelona are prepared to part company with.
