Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is ready to fight for his place in the first team amid interest from Arsenal, according to a report.

Jesse Lingard reportedly has no intention of leaving Manchester United to join Premier League rivals Arsenal at the end of the season.

The England international is soon to enter the final year of his Old Trafford contract and has fallen out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Arsenal are believed to be willing to offer Lingard an escape route, but Metro claims that the attacking midfielder would prefer to fight for his place at United.

Solskjaer is said to be prepared to offload the bit-part player in order to raise funds, with a £30m offer likely to be enough to land his signature.

United academy player Lingard has scored two goals in 35 appearances this season.
