Manchester United are reportedly unlikely to allow Eric Bailly to leave Old Trafford during the January transfer window.

Manchester United have reportedly decided that Eric Bailly will remain at Old Trafford for the rest of the season.

Bailly has found himself in and out of the starting lineup this season, while the Ivorian is currently serving a three-match suspension for a red card picked up against Bournemouth.

Sevilla are one of a number of teams who are said to be keen on the 24-year-old but according to The Telegraph, the Spanish outfit are likely to be left disappointed.

United are looking to bring in at least one fresh face in the centre of defence, and it would take a new arrival for the club's hierarchy to consider parting ways with Bailly.

The former Villarreal man has only made 10 outings in the Premier League and Champions League this season, but United still feel that Bailly represents a strong option at the back.
