A Football League survey has revealed that the most optimistic fan base in the Championship, League One and League Two belongs to Middlesbrough.
On a scale of one to five, Boro fans scored 4.71 for optimism to finish ahead of Sheffield United and Derby County.
In the Championship, Lancashire duo Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers were the only sides to record a rating of less than three.

Crewe Alexandra supporters are the gloomiest in League One, while Dagenham & Redbridge fans are not feeling too confident ahead of the League Two season.
The League also gauged supporters' opinions on where their club would finish, and both Boro and Derby fans feel that they will be in the top two.
Rotherham United fans put themselves finishing 15th for the lowest Championship mark, with all but two of the 24 clubs' supporters feeling that a top-half finish is achievable.
