Newcastle United winger Sylvain Marveaux has said that he is happy to wait for his opportunity to break into the first team.
The summer signing from French club Rennes has yet to start a game under Alan Pardew, but he insists that he will remain patient.
"At the moment, it isn't easy to get into the team because they are unbeaten," he said. "We're all working hard and trying to show the manager what we can do.
"I'm ready, and I'll wait for my chance. The team is fourth in the table - that's great.
"We're winning football matches, and the guys on the wings are performing well when they're asked to perform. Sometimes it is difficult to change a winning side."
United continue their Premier League campaign after the international break against Tottenham Hotspur.
