Preston North End have come to an agreement with Stevenage over compensation fees for manager Graham Westley.
The 43-year-old will join North End to replace Phil Brown, who was sacked by the club in December, along with coaches John Dreyer and Dino Maamria.
North End have been in pursuit of the League One manager since the beginning of the year, with Stevenage originally rejecting advances for the former striker.
Stevenage have confirmed that while they are looking for a replacement club captain Mark Roberts will take over the team on a player/manager basis.
Westley returned to Stevenage for a second stint as manager in 2008.
