Henri Lansbury: 'Nottingham Forest confidence high'

Henri Lansbury says that confidence in the Nottingham Forest camp is high going into tonight's Championship match against Middlesbrough.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury has said that confidence within the team is high ahead of tonight's match against Middlesbrough.

Forest lie just three points off the early pace being set by Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers at the top of the Championship table and if both slip up over the next two days, then Forest could be top after seven games.

Billy Davies's side have won all three matches at home so far this season and Lansbury says that coming through in five goals against Barnsley on Saturday was "massive".

"Squad morale is high and the lads are looking forward to every game. Saturday was a massive win for us, we're gelling together now and we'll keep building on the positives," he told the club's official website.

"It took a lot of character to come back after Barnsley pegged us back twice but the lads have shown that spirit a few times so far this season. We're looking forward to every game we're playing and we're confident."

Boro head into tonight's match on the back of a 3-1 defeat at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
