Karl Robinson confesses to being flattered by reported interest from Nottingham Forest, but hints at his wish to stay with MK Dons.

Karl Robinson has admitted that he is flattered to have been linked with the managerial vacancy at Nottingham Forest.

The Tricky Trees are searching for a new boss following the resignation of Steve McClaren yesterday evening.

However, the current MK Dons chief has hinted that he is planning to stay at the Stadium MK for the foreseeable future.

"I have not heard anything officially from Nottingham Forest and it is nice to be linked with other jobs, but I have got a job to finish at MK Dons," Robinson told Sky Sports News.

"When I took the job I set out to win promotion and that is what I intend to do.

"I made promises to the chairman and players and I want to keep them."

Robinson took over the manager's job with the Dons in 2009.
